Change of Plans: Tu B’Shevat Hike in Hoyt Arboretum
Saturday, January 31, 1:45pm
Hoyt Arboretum (4000 SW Fairview Boulevard)
There’s not enough snow yet on Mount Hood to snowshoe, so we’ll try again later in the season!
Instead, join us for an easy hike in the beautiful Hoyt Arboretum, where we can see trees from all over the world. We’ll explore (and taste!) the seven species of Tu B’shevat and see what’s starting to flower. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and dress for possible cold and rain. We’ll meet in the Visitors Center parking lot at 1:30. Parking is $1.60/hr, or you can park for free in the Beth Israel parking lot (northeast corner of NW 19th and Flanders) and walk or bike there. Carpooling is strongly encouraged!
After our hike, we’ll reconvene at Coffee Time (712 NW 21st Ave) for a warm drink.
