CBI Purim Schpiel 2015!
Wednesday, March 4, 6:00 PM
Bring your flasks and join your JND friends for The Jews Brothers, a Blues Schpiel and Revue at Congregation Beth Israel! The synagogue has kindly reserved us seats for this one of a kind event! There will be a Purim service, Megillah, reading and Schpiel. The party will continue after the Schpiel! Please join our all-star cast in Goodman Hall for hamentaschen, cheese, fruit, wine, and beverages.
JND Shabbat Service
Friday, March 6, 7:30 PM
Join us for our monthly Shabbat services, led by Rabbi Rachel Joseph and Sarah Philips, with a d'var discussion led by member Tamar Davis.
Services will be held in Pollin Chapel, across from the main sanctuary. Parking is available in the lot on the corner of 19th and Flanders. After services, we will convene to a nearby (walkable) location for drinks and chatting.
Club Purim! A JND-Moishe House Event

Don your favorite costume and party at “Club Purim” co-hosted by Moishe House PDX and Jews Next Dor! We'll have awesome dance beats, a visual DJ, plenty of drinks, and a costume contest at 10:00 PM! Prizes for best individual and best group costumes.
This one's so big tickets are required! Price includes drinks! $5 (plus $1 fee) by Wednesday, March 4th or $10 at the door. Doors open at 8:30 PM at the Ford Building. Purchase tickets here.

Chocolate Seder 2015

Get in the mood for Passover a few days early as we explore the delicious side of our people's redemption from Egypt - with chocolate! We'll have a shortened seder with chocolatey stand-ins for the traditional foods. Think Drumsticks for shank bones and 85% caco for maror. Bring an open mind and an empty stomach!
