JND May Shabbat Service

Mitzvah Day

The Social Action Committee invites you to join us on May 5th as we come together as a Congregation for a very special day. Everyone will meet in Blumauer Hall at 8:45am for breakfast. There is a wide variety of projects to choose from. Julia Waldinger, the chair of JND, will be leading a gardening project at Ronald McDonald House.

The Social Action Committee is also asking you to bring food donations for Sunshine Pantry and donations of clean, usable furniture and basic household items for Community Warehouse. You will also have the opportunity to donate blood for the Red Cross.

Join JND for a fun night of cheesecake and games. We will be having a master chef cheesecake competition. All cheesecakes will be easy no bake recipes. JND will provide all the ingredients. After the baking fun, we will play games, so bring your favorite board game, video game, etc. If your first name starts with A-L, please bring a bottle of wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverage. If your first name starts with M-Z, please bring a food item. If you need a ride or to arrange carpooling, please post on the Facebook event’s wall.
