JND OCTOBER EVENTS

Lulavs and Lagers

Tuesday, October 14, 5:30 PM
Congregation Beth Israel Sukkah (outside the domed temple)

Bring your favorite beer (i.e. 6-pack) to share and a snack to the Congregation Beth Israel sukkah for an evening of beer and fun! Have an opportunity to shake the lulav and etrog, decorate the sukkah, and determine your favorite kind of beer. If the weather is bad, we'll be on the Blumauer Auditorium balcony in the Sherman Education Center (located west of the sukkah).

Haunted Happy Hour

Thursday, October 30, 6:45 PM
300 N Winning Way, Portland, OR

Join us for a night full of spooks on Thursday, October 30, at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum for Fright Town, named "the scariest and best haunted attraction in the entire state of Oregon," by HauntWorld.com! We will be meeting at the intersection of N Winning Way and N Flint Avenue (at the southern side) promptly at 6:45 PM so that we can get in line before it gets long. Coupons, directions, and more available online.

Not into spooks? Afterwards, we will head to Rontoms around 8:30 PM (600 E Burnside St).
