Elul Racial Justice Challenge

Elul Racial Justice Challenge

CBI’s IDEA Committee invites you to join a congregational learning opportunity designed for the month of Elul, using a curriculum prepared by the Jewish Emergent Network that ties into the confessional nature of the Al Chet prayer.

Engage in a self-paced, 21-day challenge of short prompts including readings, videos, podcasts, and calls to action that will open your hearts and deepen your practice of dismantling racism. The goal is to assist congregants in furthering their awareness, compassion, understanding, and engagement towards anti-racism. Included are both white and Black, Indigenous, Sephardi/Mizrachi POC learning tracks to support you in getting to the heart of what comes up for you  when engaging in anti-racist work.

As part of the Challenge, we will be holding two facilitated discussion sessions to reflect together upon what we are learning and observing during the challenge.

We’ll host facilitated discussions at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 27 via Zoom. Advance registration requested; please fill out the form below.
